About Us

Educational Animations helps communicate research, policy and community information, through animation, story and song.

Clear communication starts with listening. We work closely with you to understand your message, audience and context, then shape that information into stories people can see, hear and remember.

Complex ideas are translated into clear visual narratives — supporting communication across diverse audiences, including culturally and linguistically diverse communities, and people with varying levels of literacy.

Grounded in extensive work across the Northern Territory, Educational Animations now partners on projects across Australia — supporting policy communication, research translation, and community education.

  • We help organisations communicate social messages, bringing them to life with storytelling, song, and visuals.

We believe important information should be understood — not just delivered.

Our work focuses on making complex ideas accessible, visual, and meaningful for the people they’re intended for.

  • Listening – We engage deeply with clients’ knowledge, asking questions and reviewing materials to fully understand communication needs.

Transformation – We transform our clients’ expertise and knowledge into clear, engaging content, including animations, songs and explainer videos.

Collaboration – We collaborate with skilled creatives to bring projects to their highest potential and ensure client knowledge is expressed at its best.

Accessibility – We make knowledge accessible, giving audiences clear, visual, usable information.

  • Educational Animations was founded by Michael Roseth, a media producer with over 15 years’ experience working across government, health, and community organisations.

Through this work, it became clear that the challenge isn’t just producing content — it’s helping organisations decide what matters, and how to communicate it clearly.

Educational Animations is built around that need: combining communication thinking with animation, story, and music to create work that connects with real audiences.

We collaborate with a network of animators, illustrators, musicians and voice artists to bring each project to life. This flexible approach allows us to scale to the needs of each project while maintaining a consistent focus on clarity and impact.

Whether developing a short explainer, a narrative animation or a song-based resource, our goal is the same: to make important information accessible, engaging and useful.
