Educational Animations developed a short narrative animation focused on two critical biosecurity actions:
• Recognising and reporting sick animals
• Never leaving food scraps where animals can access themThe animation uses familiar bush settings — hunters, campers and travellers — to place biosecurity decisions in everyday contexts.
Through visual storytelling, it demonstrates how disease can spread between feral pigs and livestock via shared water sources or contaminated food.
The video reinforces a clear call to action: report sick animals to the Emergency Animal Disease Hotline.

The animation translates complex biosecurity risks into a clear, engaging story that everyday Australians can understand and act on.
By focusing on practical behaviours and relatable scenarios, the project extends biosecurity awareness beyond the farm gate — supporting a whole-of-community approach to protecting Australia’s livestock industries.

Client Reflection:
“The videos were extremely effective in supporting our animal biosecurity messaging.
We used them across social media, conferences, and presentations, where they helped clearly communicate what can often be a complex topic. The animations were also leveraged to reinforce biosecurity messages across northern Australia, successfully reaching our target audiences.”
