Pricing Guide

I work with organisations and individuals in different capacities and every project is unique.

Project costs have a huge variance, however there are four contingencies that will effect the cost of a project:

How well defined are the communication needs
The style of imagery and animation
The resource format eg illustration; story; song; explainer video
Language versions

As these contingencies manifest in a multitude of ways it is impossible to provide a fixed pricing structure. Instead I would like to provide three hypothetical example projects and a price range for each.

Example 1 - Approximately $3000

The client is very clear about their communication needs
I produce 20 figurative illustrations

Example 2 - Approximately $3000-6000

The client has a good idea of their communication needs and requires some consultation with me to gain clarity and direction
The client is able to write a draft script
I produce a 3 minute explainer video with simple illustrations and minimal movement

Example 3 - Approximately $10,000 - 20,000

The client has really important communication needs but they are not well defined and we need several meetings to provide clarity, structure and direction
I engage script writers; the script goes through a consultive and iterative process until all stakeholders are happy with the messages being communicated
I produce a 5 minute animated story with detailed imagery and movement

Example 4 - Approximately $20,000 - 50,000 +

The client has really important communication needs but they are not well defined and we need several meetings to provide clarity, structure and direction
I engage song and script writers; the song and script goes through a consultive and iterative process until all stakeholders are happy with the messages being communicated
I produce a 5 minute animated song followed by an explainer video
The explainer video is produced in several language versions
